VIDEO | Holy slow-motion sumo slam

By Russell Ess - May 26, 2016

Here’s a little flashback to the 2013 US Sumo Open match between 346-pound Byambajav “Byamba” Ulambayar and 410-pound Kelly “Big Tree” Gneiting that took place in Los Angeles.

Close to 4,000 people were in attendance for the ground shaking event as “Byamba” captured the gold medal for the 7th consecutive year. To get a grasp on “Byamba’s” dominance, he went on to win gold again in 2014. No other competitor has been able to win gold more than two years in a row.

Check out the insane slow-motion video of “Byamba’s” slam on Gneiting in the video above.
