Floyd Mayweather’s worst moments inside the boxing ring.
With UFC President Dana White now seemingly on board with the potential Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor boxing match, it seems to be just a matter of time before the expected super-fight is made official.
Floyd Mayweather is thought by many fans and analysts to be the greatest boxer in the history of the sport.
“Money” has gone a perfect 49-0 in his boxing career while taking very little damage during those contests.
It is not like Floyd has been spoon-fed opponents either, as most of Mayweather’s fights have come against top tier fighters, as well as fellow and former champions.
With that said, a select few fighters have actually been able to land significant strikes on Mayweather, some even hurting the undefeated boxing legend.
In the above video, we take a look back at some of Floyd Mayweather’s worst moments inside the boxing ring.
Floyd Mayweather was last seen in action in September of 2015, where he scored a unanimous decision victory over Andre Berto thus retaining his WBA (Super), WBC, The Ring, and lineal welterweight titles.
Prior to his win over Berto, “Money” was coming off a unanimous decision victory over fellow boxing legend Manny Pacquiao in what was considered to be the biggest boxing fight of the modern era.
Following his victory over Berto in September of 2015, Floyd Mayweather Jr. retired for the second time in his professional career.
With that said, Mayweather is obviously keen on the idea of returning to the squared circle to face off against UFC star Conor McGregor.
The UFC’s current lightweight champion, McGregor, was last seen inside the octagon this past November at UFC 205 in New York, where he scored a second-round knockout victory over Eddie Alvarez.
The brash Irish star is confident that he can become the first man to hand Mayweather a loss inside the ring.
