VIDEO | Eddie Alvarez wants Conor McGregor, talks title shot

Ahead of March 5th’s UFC 196 lightweight title scrap between Conor McGregor and Rafael dos Anjos, Eddie Alvarez is seeking a lightweight title shot.

Following his win over Anthony Pettis back in January, Alvarez’s name was thrown into the lightweight title mix. While he is looking to fight the winner of McGregor vs. dos Anjos, things are a bit complicated at the top of the lightweight division.

McGregor could be moving up to welterweight with a win over dos Anjos, and has already committed to a fight at UFC 200. In addition, it is expected that the winner of Khabib Nurmagomedov vs. Tony Ferguson will get the next crack at the lightweight strap.

Alvarez talks about the lightweight title picture, and who he would like to fight, in the video above!
