UFC President Dana White has his finger on the pulse for what is happening with his biggest stars in the UFC, which include Nick and Nate Diaz.

TMZ recently caught up with White to see what latest was with the Diaz brothers and why we haven’t heard anything about the Stockton scrappers being scheduled to fight in the Octagon.

“We keep offering Nate fights and he keeps turning ’em down,” said the UFC President. “Nick too.”

Recently, it was confirmed that Nate Diaz turned down a fight with former UFC lightweight champion Eddie Alvarez, who lost the lightweight title to Conor McGregor in his last competition.

The representative from TMZ was surprised and asked for a reason why they are turning down fight offers.

“I have no idea,” said White.

TMZ then asked if White thinks Nate is just holding out for an offer to fight Conor McGregor in their trilogy bout that has been talked about by both Nate Diaz and Conor McGregor. Even McGregor’s coach John Kavanagh has stated that is the one fight he is hoping for the most in the UFC.

“I don’t know,” White said. “Maybe. Maybe he is. Conor is off right, I mean, Conor has endless possibilities for fights.”

With Conor McGregor taking time off for the birth of his first child and with White now confident that the fight with Floyd Mayweather will actually take place, there are many options for “The Notorious.”

White was then asked if McGregor’s next fight in the UFC would be defending his lightweight title, White said he believes that will be the case.

“I think so. That’s where it should be,” said White.
