UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor nearly got into another press conference object-throwing war today during the UFC 205 pre-fight press conference.

Back at UFC 202’s pre-fight press conference, “The Notorious” and Nate Diaz got into a crazy war throwing various objects including water bottles, energy drink cans, and a cup of coffee.

McGregor showed up notoriously late on Thursday to the press conference where his absence upset Eddie Alvarez so much that he stormed off stage.

“The Notorious” eventually showed up dancing on stage dressed in a white mink coat and shouted in the mic, “Sorry I’m late, I just don’t give a f–k!”

McGregor also went over to Eddie Alvarez’s seat while he was still backstage waiting for the arrival of McGregor. Conor took the opportunity to snatch Alvarez’s belt from where Alvarez was seated and placed the UFC lightweight champion’s belt at his seat next to his featherweight belt.

Things got really heated when Alvarez showed up back on stage and saw that his belt wasn’t at his seat. The lightweight champ got his belt back and was fired up and threw a chair behind McGregor’s seat. The action immediately struck a nerve with McGregor as he got up from his chair and picked it up over his head ready to launch an attack on Alvarez like it was a scene from a crazy professional wrestling match.

UFC President Dana White literally had his hands full as he had to hold the featherweight champion back as security jumped in to intervene the two main event fighters from getting physical with each on stage.
