Immediately after the open workouts for UFC 196, UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor took to the media to answer questions and didn’t disappoint. “The Notorious” had some whip in his comments, much the opposite of one of Nate Diaz’s recent interviews where he surprisingly gives McGregor praise.
With the two very vocal fighters having had less than two weeks to jaw at one another as official opponents, McGregor feels like he is already beating down Diaz with his talk.
“If you’ve been following me or him, you know there’s been subtle digs over the course of last year” McGregor said to the media. “Maybe the last two years but he’s gonna say this and say that, but now all of a sudden he’s a scared little brother of some sort. So, let’s see what he has to say. I’m here for a fight and a check and that’s it. Fu*k the belt.”
Do you think Conor McGregor is in Nate Diaz’s head, and will it have an effect on Nate’s performance against “The Notorious” on Saturday night at UFC 196?
