Cody Garbrandt robot danced his way to victory during his UFC bantamweight championship fight at UFC 207 on Friday.
The newly crowned Team Alpha Male product showed impressive offense and defense in his five-round title fight against Dominick Cruz, picking up a unanimous decision victory.
UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley was feeling what “No Love” brought to the Octagon against Cruz and tweeted this GIF of Garbrandt dodging multiple punches from Cruz and then doing the robot dance giving the fans watching a bit more to talk to about.

For a good portion of the fight, Garbrandt was able to avoid being hit by Cruz, who is known himself for being one of the most elusive fighters in the UFC with opponents having a hard time catching him.
“I was really just curious to see his speed, his angles,” Garbrandt said at the post-fight press conference. “Everyone believed the hype of him being … he’s The Matrix, he’s a ghost in there. He’s great. I’m not taking nothing away from him, but I was almost in shock he was as slow as he was in his movements and his angles weren’t there.”
Now with establishing himself as the best in the UFC’s 135-pound division, “No Love” is weighing his options for what comes next.
“[I want] whatever benefits me,” Garbrandt said on Monday’s episode of The MMA Hour. “I’m the champ. I just went out there and beat one of the best pound-for-pound, he’s been on the pound-for-pound list for however long now. I want the biggest draw. I think Jose Aldo. I want the biggest challenge. I’m in this sport to challenge myself. I just beat Dominick handily. I’m ready for a bigger challenge. I think Jose Aldo is tough, I respect him, but I want to test his chin. I hit like a Mack Truck.”
