Conor McGregor is frequently criticized for his lack of activity over the last few years. Yet while this Irishman hasn’t been fighting particularly frequently, he’s still making money.

Conor McGregor, Burger King

Showcasing his remarkable business savvy, McGregor seems to have a new project or endorsement deal on the go every few weeks. His latest venture is a commercial for Burger King, during which he debuts the fast food giant’s new Spicy Crispy Chicken Sandwich.

See this commercial – and the new sandwich – in the video above.

As you can see, McGregor’s Burger King commercial is laden with references to his rivals, namely Tony Ferguson and Khabib Nurmagomedov, who have repeatedly referred to him as “McNuggets” and “Chicken” respectively.

Ferguson and Nurmagomedov, of course, are set to battle for the UFC lightweight title still owned by McGregor at UFC 223 on April 7. According to UFC President Dana White, McGregor will be stripped of the title once the cage door closes on the two fighters at UFC 223.

“As soon as one punch is thrown, it’s on for the full title and it’s only fair,” White recently told LA Times’ Lance Pugmire of Ferguson and Nurmagomedov’s UFC 223 showdown. “They’ve both worked their way up to No. 1 and No. 2. They deserve a shot.”

What do you think of Conor McGregor’s new Burger King commercial? Do you think we’ll ever see the Irish superstar in the cage again, or will paydays like this gig surely provided be enough to keep him on the sidelines? Make your opinions heard in the comments section below.
