VIDEO | Brawl in Sydney street believed to have started over Conor McGregor vs. Nate Diaz UFC fight

A brawl that saw nearly 50 people fighting outside of a bar in Sydney, Australia saw one a 17-year-old boy taken to the hospital with a fractured eye socket, according to Yahoo!

The street fight is believed to have started with fans arguing over the UFC fight between UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz in their non-title welterweight bout at UFC 196.

An argument allegedly took place in the pub at the Ritz Hotel, Hurstville and then ended up on the street outside where the brawl erupted into a violent incident.

Police were called to the fight on Forest Road just after 5pm when up to 50 people spilled out of the premises and onto the street, as onlookers captured the brawl on their mobile phones.

A 17-year-old boy was taken to to St George Hospital with a fractured eye socket and a second teenager had bruising to his forehead.

Police arrested a 15-year-old at the time and took her into custody for offensive language.

Conor McGregor lost to Nate Diaz in the second round of the main event at UFC 196. Diaz secured a rear-naked choke submission on the UFC featherweight champion and ended the fight after an exciting exchange between both fighters.
