MMA fans have long dreamed of watching Georges St-Pierre and Anderson Silva meet in the Octagon. Although St-Pierre has still not announced a comeback fight himself, UFC Kenny Florian recently assured that GSP will be fighting in the UFC later this year.

Although both St-Pierre and Silva are no longer champions of their respective divisions, many still wonder how a match between two of the greatest UFC champions would play out.

Anderson Silva was asked at the a UFC 198 press conference if the superfight between the former welterweight champion and former middleweight champion could still possibly take place. Anderson said, “It could happen. It would be an honor to be able to fight him, it could happen.”
