UFC Fight Night 94 Bonus Report

‘UFC Fight Night 96’ in Hidalgo, Texas delivered some memorable fights and solid finishes.

With that said, four “Performance of the night” awards were handed out at yesterday evening’s post fight press conference.

Those $50,000 ‘UFC Fight Night 94’ bonuses went to the following fighters:

Performance of the night bonus – Chas Skelly earned a performance of the night bonus for scoring the fastest submission victory in UFC featherweight history last night over his opponent Maximo Blanco. Skelly charged across the cage and landed a leaping body kick that dropped Blanco and then quickly locked in a anaconda choke which forced Maximo to tapout. The fight last 19-seconds.

Performance of the night bonus – Michael Johnson earned an extra $50k for his stunning knockout of surging contender Dustin Poirier. “The Menace” was able to slip a combination from Poirier and then rip off a counter right hand followed by a straight left which sent Dustin crashing to the canvas.

Fight of the night bonuses – Veteran Evan Dunham and UFC newcomer Rick Glenn each pocketed an extra $50k for their epic battle which took place on yesterday’s main card. Although Dunham controlled and dictated the pace of the fight for the better part of 15 minutes, his opponent Rick Glenn showed a ton of heart and toughness throwing punches to the final bell.
