UFC Fight Night 101 Results: Omari Akhmedov defeats Kyle Noke

Omari Akhmedov was able to utilize some good takedowns and effective strikes to score a decision victory over hometown favorite Kyle Noke on the main card of tonight’s UFC Fight Night 101 event in Melbourne, Australia.
Akhmedov was able to score takedowns in rounds one and two, which resulted in some punishing ground and pound that busted up his veteran opponent.
Noke looked to be light on his feet in round three but after landing a couple of decent shots, he was once again taken down by Akhmedov.
The final round came to a close with a loud cry of boos from the fans in attendance.
