UFC 202 Results: Tim Means TKO’s Sabah Homasi

A welterweight scrap between Tim Means and Sabah Homasi kicked off the UFC 202 main card in Las Vegas.

Round one begins and Homasi lands a left hook to start. He follows up with a kick but eats a left hand from Means. Homasi retreats. He circles away and lands back-to-back leg kicks. Means presses forward and engages in the clinch. Homasi ducks down and lands a takedown. Homasi is working from full guard. Means scrambles and gets back to his feet. Tim misses with a head kick. Means presses forward with a combination. Tim clinches up with Sabah and land a knee. The fighters break and both men start trading left hands. Means presses Homasi against the fence. Tim lands a front kick but Sabah shoots in and scores a takedown. Means is able to scramble and get back to his feet. He lands a left hand and then a knee. Sabah is cut. He is bleeding badly. Means lands a stiff jab and then a short elbow. The fighters start trading punches. Means has Sabah hurt. He presses him against the cage and lands multiple shots as the horn sounds to end round one.

Round two begins and Means throws a head kick to start. Tim is pressing the action. Homasi circles away. Homasi lands a nice leg kick. Means charges forward and lands a punch and then a follow-up elbow. A nice front kick lands for Means. Homasi fires back with a kick to the body. Means takes the shot and fires back with a kick of his own. Means goes to the body with punches and then lands some knees from the clinch. Homasi has to get away from the cage. A huge right hand lands for Means. Tim lands a stiff jab and then comes in with a combination. Means with more strikes and the referee has seen enough. This one is over.
