Tyron Woodley hadn’t been UFC welterweight champion for more than an hour before he called out the greatest welterweight of all time, Georges St-Pierre.

Georges St-Pierre

While rumors of GSP returning to the Octagon have continued to surface since he took an indefinite hiatus from the Octagon starting in 2013, UFC President Dana White has remained adamant that St-Pierre will never return to the Octagon.

Despite that, vegas oddsmakers have put together opening odds for a Woodley vs. St-Pierre fight. Bovada currently has St-Pierre as a -150 favorite, while Woodley is a +120 underdog.

Despite St-Pierre’s 3 year hiatus from the UFC, he would hypothetically enter the fight on a 12 fight win streak, with his most recent win being a split decision over Johny Hendricks at UFC 167.

Woodley on the other hand would enter the bout on a 3-fight win streak, with his most recent win of course being a KO win over Robbie Lawler this past weekend at UFC 201.
