Tough Guy Tuesday: Clark Gillies

By Chris Taylor - February 2, 2016

In this week’s segment of “Tough Guy Tuesday” we feature National Hockey Legend Clark Gillies.

The 6’3″ power forward played in the NHL from 1974-1988 with the New York Islanders and Buffalo Sabres.

The Hall of Fame left winger finished his career with 319 goals and 378 assists for 697 points in 958 games and also served 1,023 minutes in penalties.

Gillies was as tough as he was talented and was able to help the Islanders capture four Stanley Cups during his time with the organization.

Clark Gillies wasn’t known as an instigator, but if you got under his skin he made you pay for it as shown in the above tribute video.
