After being brutally knocked out by Holly Holm in the main event of UFC 193, Rousey’s began her indefinite hiatus from the Octagon. While the initial plan was for Rousey to film several movies in Hollywood before returning to the Octagon in November, the former champ’s return has continuously been pushed back.

Now, as the UFC brass looks to begin forming the historic UFC 205 card in New York, UFC President Dana White has revealed that Rousey will not be on the card.

He spoke on UFC Unfiltered:

She’s definitely not fighting in New York. I’m actually going to start building the New York card this week.

Fox Sports has also learned that discussions between Rousey’s team and the UFC are ongoing, and the former champ could still return before the end of the year, despite not fighting on the November 12th card in New York.
