Athlete outfitting pay for UFC 206: Holloway takes home $30K for wearing Reebok

Last night, the UFC returned to snow covered Toronto, Ontario Canada for the first time since 2013. They did so with UFC 206, a fight that was short on big names, but long on incredible action. At the moment, purses for this 12-fight card have not been disclosed. We do, however, know how much the card’s 24 fighters took home through the UFC’s outfitting deal with sports apparel giant Reebok.

Athlete outfitting pay for The Ultimate Fighter 24 Finale: 14 fighters get $2,500

Last night, the UFC returned to glimmering Las Vegas, Nevada with the finale of the latest season of The Ultimate Fighter. The card was headlined by a flyweight title fight between dominant champion Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson, and the unheralded Tim Elliott, who won the latest season of the Ultimate Fighter. At the moment, purses for this 12-fight card have not been disclosed. We do, however, know how much the card’s 24 fighters took home through the UFC’s outfitting deal with sports apparel giant Reebok.

The UFC’s latest trip to Belfast, Northern Ireland has now come and gone, and it was a very exciting card. Unfortunately, we lost one of the card’s most anticipated fights on the eve of battle, as fan favorite flyweight Ian McCall was forced out of a planned bout with Ireland’s Neil “2 Tap” Seery with an illness. The illness, which began before McCall undertook his weight cut, was severe enough to hospitalize him. Despite the last minute cancellation of his fight  – which was intended to be his retirement bout – Seery was all class, and wished McCall a speedy recovery.

Reebok pay for UFC Belfast and Sao Paulo: 29 fighters receive $2,500, 'Lil Nog' gets $5k

On Saturday (November 19), MMA fans were treated to a rare double-header from the UFC, as the promotion hosted cards in both Belfast, Northern Ireland, and Sao Paulo, Brazil. Between the two cards, we saw a whopping 50 fighters compete across 25 fights. At the moment, fighter purses for these two exciting events are not known. We do, however, know how much each fighter received for wearing Reebok as part of the UFC’s oft-criticized Athlete Outfitting program.

Athlete Outfitting Pay for UFC 204

On Saturday night, the UFC took over beautiful Manchester, England with UFC 204. In the evening’s headliner, we saw middleweight champion Michael Bisping take a contentious decision from retiring challenger Dan Henderson. In the co-main event, meanwhile, we watched on as Gegard Mousasi took out a fading legend in Brazil’s Vitor Belfort.

Last night, the UFC touched down in Hidalgo, Texas with an extremely exciting card, highlighted by some amazing first-round finishes. At the time of this writing, the official fight purses of the 24 fighters on the card has not yet been disclosed. We do, however, know how much each fighter took home via the UFC’s Athlete Outfitting pay program – the result of the organization’s frequently criticized deal with sports apparel giant Reebok.

UFC Fight Night 82 Reebok pay for fighters ranges from $2,500 to $15,000

$145,000 was the total payout by Reebok for the exclusive uniform deal with the UFC for the UFC Fight Night 82 event that took place in Las Vegas, Nevada on Saturday night. The payout from Reebok is in addition to each fighter’s contracted fight pay with the UFC. Four fighters took home $15,000 for their appearance in the Octagon on Saturday night. Johny Hendricks, Roy Nelson, Joseph Benavidez and Mike Pyle all took home the highest checks from Reebok with only Hendricks losing in his bout to rising welterweight star Stephen “Wonderboy” Thompson.
