Paige VanZant releases statement on alleged Ronda Rousey incident

Thursday evening a clip emerged of UFC women’s bantamweight champion Miesha Tate on The Joe Rogan Experience discussing a time when Paige VanZant told her that Ronda Rousey had verbally attacked her during a Reebok photoshoot.

VanZant was quick to release a statement through TMZ Sports regarding the situation. Her statement reads:

“It appears that I offended Ronda by congratulating Holly after her victory. The incident was very shocking and totally unnecessary.”

Rousey allegedly cursed out VanZant, calling her a “fair-weather b*tch,” and eventually concluding her rage filled tirade with “f**k you, f**king fair-weather 115 pounder.’”
