Former UFC women’s bantamweight champion Holly Holm shared her thoughts on a potential rematch with long-time rival Germaine de Randamie. Holm and de Randamie first met back at UFC 208 in February 2017 for the inaugural UFC women’s featherweight title. In what was one of the most controversial fights of that year, de Randamie won the title after a foul-marred point-fighting battle that saw her win a controversial unanimous decision. Nearly four years later and there is now a chance we could see these two rivals fight again, only this time the fight would be at bantamweight.

UFC welterweight veteran Matt Brown called out Carlos Condit following his win over Court McGee at UFC Fight Island 4 and Condit responded. Condit snapped a five-fight losing skid with a unanimous decision win over McGee on Saturday night. After suffering through the worst losing stretch of his legendary MMA career, Condit turned back the clock with a fantastic performance against McGee that saw him outstrike his opponent and get back into the win column for the first time since 2015.
UFC Fight Island 4 Bonuses: Germaine de Randamie pockets 50k for her first career submission

UFC women’s bantamweight contender Germaine de Randamie was one of four fighters who picked up $50,000 bonuses following UFC Fight Island 4. The UFC announced the traditional post-fight bonuses following the event. De Randamie, who picked up the first submission win of her MMA career when she tapped out Julianna Pena with a third-round guillotine choke, picked up $50k for her incredible finish. At age 36, de Randamie proved that she is still improving. It’s the second bonus of de Randamie’s UFC career, having previously won a bonus in 2016 for her TKO win over Anna Elmose.

The UFC’s former interim welterweight champion, Condit (31-13 MMA), had entered tonight’s fight with McGee in hopes of snapping a five-fight losing skid. ‘The Natural Born Killers’ had not scored a win since defeating Thiago Alves way back in May of 2015.

Veteran MMA welterweight Paul Daley is set to announce his retirement from mixed martial arts after one final fight in Bellator. Daley was set to take on Derek Anderson in the main event of this week’s Bellator 247 event. However, the fight was called off by the doctors after Daley missed weight and started having health issues afterward. Daley later explained what happened and why he missed weight, but he was criticized by the athletic commissioner for his failed weight cut.

Holly Holm hopes to retire with the UFC women’s bantamweight championship once again wrapped around her waist. Holm captured the UFC bantamweight title in 2015 by knocking out the formerly unbeaten Ronda Rousey in one of the biggest upsets in MMA history. She then surrendered the title in her first defense, succumbing to a fifth-round rear-naked choke courtesy of Miesha Tate.

Former UFC bantamweight contender Brett Johns has released a statement after leaving the Octagon and signing as a free agent with Bellator. Johns (17-2) was one of the top young bantamweight contenders in the UFC, but he has decided to move on after accepting a better contract offer from Bellator. The 28-year-old Wales native and former Titan FC champion officially announced the move on Friday via his social media accounts, where he explained why he decided to leave the UFC for Bellator.
