The sport of mixed martial arts is steadily growing and the fighters that put it all on the line are becoming famous celebrities in their own right.

UFC superstar Nate Diaz said it best on The MMA Hour last year in reference to other celebrities being in attendance for their fights and watching them compete.

“Entertainers are there in the front row,” Diaz said (as transcribed by Shaun Al-Shatti of MMA Fighting). “I’m sitting there with Lil Jon and f*king Mike Tyson and who else? Everybody. Anyone you could think of that’s famous is sitting front row. Baseball players. These guys are getting paid millions of dollars, and we’re entertaining the entertainers. So doesn’t that make us the crème de la crème?”

There’s no doubt that celebrities have been drawn into the sport of mixed martial arts and have taken their own interest in certain fighters and fight matchups.

Here, we take a look at some mixed martial arts stars mixing it up with other fellow celebrities that come from some similar and some completely different backgrounds.
