Mike Winkeljohn is one of the most elite coaches in Mixed Martial Arts today. Coach Winkeljohn has worked hard to build the world renowned, professional fighters that hail from the Jackson / Winkeljohn gym, in Albuquerque, NM. It is here that he co-conspires with his longtime friend and fellow coach Greg Jackson.

Notable athletes under his tutelage include UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones, George “Rush” St. Pierre, Rashad Evans, Frank Mir, Gina Carano, Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone, John Dodson, Duane Ludwig and most recently BJ “The Prodigy” Penn.

Coach Wink has an uncanny ability to teach and implement fight strategy and tactics to the MMA competitor. He is a 5th degree black belt in Kempo and is regarded as the premier striking coach in the sport of mixed martial arts.Coach Wink has competed around the world and achieved three world titles in Muay Thai and Kickboxing.

Coach Wink’s has earned three world titles which include the ISKA championship and two Muay Thai championships. His kickboxing record is 25-7-3 along with a boxing record of 2-0.
