Friday evening in Las Vegas, longtime UFC commentator Mike Goldberg called his final event for the UFC. Leading up to the fight, there were numerous reports that the event would be Goldberg’s last. Those reports came after UFC President Dana White stated that he was working to put together a ‘dream team’ of commentary.

While there was no mention of the event being Goldberg’s last during the course of the UFC 207 broadcast, fighters took to Twitter to pay tribute to the longtime commentator. In addition, Goldberg’s son took to Twitter to express his frustration with the promotion for quietly whisking his father away.
