Miesha Tate realized her dream of becoming a UFC champion on Saturday night. Tate secured a rear-naked choke on Holly Holm in the fifth and final round of their title fight at UFC 196 and choked Holm unconscious.

Tate took to Instagram to address her fans and acknowledged Holm with a great amount of respect.

Tate said in her post:

This is still so Crazy to me, I keep feeling like I’m going to wake up and it will all be a dream I still have yet to accomplish. I really want to express my gratitude to @hollyholm from the bottom of my heart you have my utmost respect. You are a strong beautiful talented woman and I know you will come back stronger. Thank you so much for stepping into the cage with me on Saturday. You will always be a champion in my eyes. #Repost @ufc
