Chris Weidman reacts to potential Georges St-Pierre vs. Michael Bisping fight

While Chris Weidman may have been forced to pull out of his UFC 199 middleweight title scrap with Luke Rockhold due to the fact that he needed to undergo neck surgery, he has managed to keep his name in headlines due to his constant trash talk.

With the recent talk of former UFC welterweight kingpin Georges St-Pierre wanting to come out of retirement to fight Bisping, Weidman shared his thoughts on both men with fans during a Q&A.

MMAFighting has the transcription of Weidman reflecting on Bisping as a champion, as well as a potential Bisping vs. GSP fight:

It’s the reality that has happened because of me, because I got injured. He should be kissing my feet right now and instead he’s not saying my name. Smart move. Bisping is definitely going to try and keep that belt as long as he possibly can and he doesn’t want to look at me. I understand that. Good for him. Smart.”

“If it’s true, they see an easy fight, why not go for it and get a belt at the same time? Who wouldn’t want that? I mean, poor Bisping but can you pick one guy in the top 15 that you are sure he can beat? There are definitely guys he can beat but that you would say for sure he would beat? Who is he gonna be a favorite against? Maybe a small favorite [against Henderson],” Weidman said.
