Matt Brown was slapped and grabbed by fans during his walkout to the octagon at last night’s UFC 198 event in Curitiba, Brazil.

After being submitted by Demian Maia in the third-round of their prelim-headlining fight, Brown returned to his hotel where he was assaulted by a man who ran in and sucker punched him. That man is reportedly a former trainer of Brown’s named Rodrigo Botti.

One of Brown’s friends was able to chase down Botti after he sucker punched Matt and tried to run away. As you can see in the above video, Brown’s friend gave Rodrigo quite a beat down for his cowardly act.
