Luke Rockhold: “No matter who, I’ll be ready”

UFC middleweight champion Luke Rockhold was expected to defend his title for the first time in a rematch against former champ Chris Weidman in the headlining bout of UFC 199 on June 4 in Los Angeles.

Unfortunately for fight fans, news broke earlier today that Weidman had suffered an injury and was forced to pull out of the highly anticipated rematch.

Just over 18 hours ago, Rockhold posted the following photo and caption to his Instagram, declaring the following “No matter who, no matter when, no matter where. I’ll be ready. #UFC199”. Check it out:

It would appear that UFC champion Luke Rockhold was made aware of Weidman’s injury prior to making this post just over 18 hours ago.
