In addition to catching criticism for missing weight, Johny Hendricks has also caught criticism for allowing fights to go to a decision.

While Hendricks has 8 KO wins in his 20 fight professional career, recently many of Hendricks’ fights have gone to a decision, some of them being controversial ones.

Ahead of his ‘UFC Fight Night: Las Vegas’ main event scrap with Stephen ‘Wonderboy’ Thompson, Hendricks is looking to silence critics yet again.

He spoke on UFC Tonight (Transcription via MMAWeekly):

“I don’t want to take it to a decision, so however I can do it, I’m going to do it. I just promise you that it’s not going to go to a decision,”

“It’s a new Johny, and everybody gets to see what the new Johny can do,” he said. “I think that my power is back. My cardio feels awesome. Everything that I could ask for in a fight preparation, it’s there.”
