A bout that has “Fight of the Night” written all over it is being targeted for UFC 200. MMA Fighting reports that the UFC is working on putting a fight together between Joe Lauzon and Diego Sanchez.

The TUF veterans were originally scheduled to fight back at UFC 180, but injuries suffered by both Lauzon and Sanchez caused the bout to be thrown out.

Joe Lauzon is 1-1 in his last two fights coming off a unanimous decision loss to Evan Dunham at The Ultimate Fighter 22 Finale and prior to that TKO’d Takanori Gomi at UFC on FOX 16.

Diego Sanchez is also 1-1 in his last two fight coming off a unanimous decision win over Jim Miller and prior to that lost a featherweight bout against Ricardo Lamas at UFC Fight Night 78.
