The card went down over the weekend in Miami, Florida, with Israel Adesanya’s rematch against Alex Pereira in the main event. ‘Poatan’ famously won their first two outings in the kickboxing ring years ago. Last November, the Brazilian defeated ‘The Last Stylebender’  by knockout to claim UFC middleweight gold.

UFC middleweight contender Paulo Costa has an interesting idea in mind for his return. ‘The Eraser’ has been out of action since his clash with Luke Rockhold last August. In that outing, the Brazilian put on a classic, going back and forth with the former champion for 15 minutes. At the end of the three rounds, Costa got the badly-needed win by unanimous decision.

Donald Trump believes he would make quick work of Joe Biden in a boxing match, saying that “I think he would go down very, very quickly.” Trump, the former United States president, is a massive combat sports fan and he will be at this Saturday’s Triller Fight Club: Holyfield vs. Ortiz fight doing alternative commentary. Ahead of this weekend’s big boxing event, Trump called in during the pre-fight press conference to take some questions with the media. One of the questions that Trump was asked if who he would fight if he had the chance to step into the ring with anyone. As far as Trump goes, he would take care of current United States president Joe Biden easily.

Although new to color commentary, Trump and fighting have been intertwined for some time now, most notably with top contender Colby Covington’s friendship. “Multiple sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ, Trump says he’s making an ‘obscene’ amount of money providing ‘live, alternative commentary’ on the Evander Holyfield vs. Vitor Belfort fight. We’re told Triller, the media company behind the event, is paying a fortune … millions and millions for his blow-by-blow analysis, though our sources would not be more specific.” (According to TMZ)

UFC commentator Joe Rogan revealed his “very weird” encounter with former United States President Donald Trump at the recent UFC 264 event. Rogan was the analyst working the commentary desk alongside play-by-play man Jon Anik and former UFC champion Daniel Cormier. Because UFC 264 was such a big event featuring UFC superstar Conor McGregor and rival Dustin Poirier in the main event, a number of celebrities took in the event, including Trump, who was a personal guest of UFC president Dana White’s. Trump entered the building to a great effect, though the UFC production staff blew it and didn’t get his face on the television, which White called a big mistake.

Trump was the president of the USA between 2017 and 2021, before losing to Joe Biden in the most recent federal election. Trump is also a big supporter of MMA and is good friends with UFC president Dana White. During Trump’s time in office, he invited Covington to the White House to take photos with him when “Chaos” was the UFC interim welterweight champion. It was the first time a UFC champion had been invited to the White House for a photo-op.
