Some people prefer to keep their political opinions to themselves, while others are proud to bare their political allegiances on the table. Fighters, of course, are no exception to this rule. In some cases it’s a complete mystery as to which way a fighter might vote. In other cases, fighter’s political leanings can be clear as day.

This latter option is true in the case of fan favorite welterweight Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone, who has been an outspoken supporter of a Donald Trump in the lead-up to the looming American election.

As this recent Cowboy Instagram post shows, he recently had the chance to meet his pick for the next President of the United States, and even had the opportunity to pose for a picture with him outside his private jet. Note Cowboy’s t-shirt, which shows Trump’s head edited onto a muscular, heavily-tattooed body.

Cowboy is joined in this photo by UFC middleweight Tim Kennedy, whose political leanings are more mysterious.

“I might vote for Mickey Mouse over Donald or Hillary [Clinton],” Kennedy said in a  recent interview with Uproxx

Cowboy and Kennedy are both scheduled to fight at UFC 205, in less than two weeks’ time.

Cowboy will appear on the event’s stacked main card, where he will look to improve to 4-0 as a welterweight with a win over The Ultimate Fighter 17 winner Kelvin Gastelum. Kennedy, meanwhile, will appear on the event’s undercard. He’ll be tasked with welcoming former light heavyweight champion Rashad Evans to the middleweight division. The bout will mark his first steps into the Octagon since a controversial, knockout loss to top-contender Yoel Romero in September of 2014.

In addition to Cowboy’s fight, UFC 205’s main card will feature a lightweight title fight between Conor McGregor and Eddie Alvarez, a welterweight title fight between Tyron Woodley and Stephen Thompson, a strawweight title bout between Joanna Jedrzejczyk and Karolina Kowalkiewicz, a middleweight tilt between Chris Weidman and Yoel Romero, and a bantamweight battle between Miesha Tate and Raquel Pennington.

Kennedy and Evans will be joined on the prelims by a featherweight bout between Frankie Edgar and Jeremy Stephens, a lightweight bout between Khabib Nurmagomedov and Michael Johnson, an additional lightweight encounter between Thiago Alves and Jim Miller, and a number of other interesting scraps.

It all goes down on November 12 inside New York City’s Madison Square Garden. Do you think Kennedy and Cowboy will win their UFC 205 bouts? Sound off, PENN Nation!
