Injuries continue to haunt the UFC.

The latest is the UFC flyweight championship bout that was scheduled for UFC 201 between champion Demetrious Johnson and contender Wilson Reis, according to a report from Combate.

MMA journalist Ariel Helwani also confirmed through sources that Johnson suffered an injury and was forced to pull out of the contest. Helwani tweeted, “Demetrious Johnson is injured and out of the 7/30 title fight vs. Wilson Reis at UFC 201, per sources. Globo reported it first.”

UFC welterweight champion Robbie Lawler will look to defend his title against Tyron Woodley in the main event of UFC 201, which takes place in Atlanta, Georgia on July 30.

The UFC has yet to make an official statement regarding Demetrious Johnson vs. Wilson Reis.
