By Justin Golightly - February 2, 2018

Everyone knows by now that Daniel Cormier will be going up to challenge Stipe Miocic for the UFC heavyweight title, if you were one of the few who didn’t, we hope you were sitting down. The gigantic fight will culminate after the 27th season of The Ultimate Fighter, which will feature undefeated prospects in the featherweight and lightweight divisions. Cormier and Miocic’s official teams have already been announced, but as any previous viewer of the show knows, there are always a few guest coaches. Former UFC middleweight champion Luke Rockhold may just be one of them.

For anyone questioning Daniel Cormier and Luke Rockhold’s bromance, let the doubts be laid to rest. Now that Rockhold is expected to appear, can we get our hopes up that Khabib Nurmagomedov could show up to teach some Smash 101 to the new recruits? Fingers and toes are crossed that goes down.

Daniel Cormier’s team will be sporting the orange jerseys and features Javier Mendez, former UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez, Deron Winn, Bob Cook, Rosendo Sanchez, and Leandro Vieira. While Stipe Miocic’s team will wear navy and bring along Bob Kaleal, UFC’s James Krause, GLORY kickboxing/ACB’s Chris Camozzi, and Dustin Jacoby.
