By now fight fans are aware of the altercation that occurred Wednesday afternoon during the UFC 202 pre-fight press conference between Conor McGregor and Team Diaz. The altercation saw objects thrown across the room while UFC President Dana White, UFC exec Dave Sholler, and a security team attempted to regain control of the situation.

Thursday morning, Dana White no-showed a scheduled appearance on popular radio show ‘Mike & Mike’ through ESPN.

The show is one of the most listened to radio programs, and would have given White the opportunity to promote the fight to a large audience.

In the wake of the event, NSAC Chairman Anthony Marnell stated that the NAC would be looking into the UFC 202 press conference incident, and would address it in an upcoming meeting.

Do you think White’s absence is due to yesterday’s press conference situation? Give us your thoughts below PENN Nation!
