At the end of 2015, talks of a Ronda Rousey-Cris Cyborg superfight were at an all time high. At UFC 194, that all changed when Rousey was knocked out by Holly Holm.
With Rousey on an indefinite hiatus from the Octagon, talks of a potential superfight with Cris Cyborg seemed to fade away. However, after Cyborg made her successful UFC debut at UFC 198 in May, the Invicta FC women’s featherweight champion began to call for a fight with Rousey once again.
