With UFC 196 less than two weeks away, fans are anxiously awaiting Conor McGregor’s UFC lightweight debut.

Unfortunately, Tuesday morning news surfaced that Rafael dos Anjos had been forced to pull out of the fight due to a broken foot. It was revealed by Kings MMA head coach Rafael Cordeiro that dos Anjos wouldn’t need to undergo surgery, but would need to stay off his foot for 3 weeks.

Now Conor McGregor has been left without an opponent with less than two weeks to go until the fight. Donald Cerrone has offered to step in on short notice to save the event. In addition, former UFC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis has also offered to step in on short notice to take the fight.

Ahead of the event, Sports Illustrated has released a photo of McGregor on an issue of Sports Illustrated, which you can see below.
