Morning Report Video: Johny Hendricks at 176 pounds! – Thinks Conor McGregor moving to 170 is a bad thing

Johny “Bigg Rigg” Hendricks is looking lean and mean with extra days to easily make weight for his welterweight match-up with Stephen Thompson.

Look for Hendricks to utilize the superior wrestling advantage in this contest. It’s no big secret how to maximize the “Bigg” hole in a flashy, dynamic striker like Thompson. Rafael dos Anjos showed that when he defeated Anthony “Showtime” Pettis with constant pressure and most importantly superior wrestling.

Thompson has been training with GSP and Chris Weidman so grappling has been a huge improvement for the welterweight.
