Fighters react to the Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz scuffle at UFC 196 presser

The press conference for UFC 196 featuring UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor, contender Nate Diaz, UFC women’s bantamweight champion Holly Holm and contender Miesha Tate did not disappoint in the build-up to their fights taking place on Saturday in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Things were heated between McGregor and Diaz through the entire presser and came to a climax when “The Notorious” punched Diaz’s hand away from his face during their face-off.

Fellow fighters went to twitter to talk about the scuffle that nearly erupted into a melee between both camps.

Rafael dos Anjos: Mcgregor should be fined because of his classless attitude,he had bad intentions to hurt him opponent’s hand

Ben Askren: First time I saw it I was thinking Connor was trying to hurt his hand. Who punches someone’s hand?
