With the countdown officially underway for the highly anticipated Conor McGregor vs. Floyd Mayweather boxing match, the reports of the media tour recently began to emerge.

Now however, an official announcement regarding the press tour has surfaced, after the Staples Center posted on social media that tickets were on sale for the highly anticipated press conference:

As the post states, tickets for the event will be on sale as of Friday morning, which will mark an interesting moment in which tickets to a press conference are put on sale, a very unusual occurrence.

This comes on the heels of news surfacing that tickets for the boxing match are officially on sale, with floor seats nearing $100,000. That announcement of course came on the heels of UFC President Dana White ripping a fight fan on Twitter for buying fake tickets to the event, as he encouraged fans to wait until an official announcement for tickets to the fight:

In addition, White also hyped up the media tour recently, with another Instagram picture reposted from McGregor, combined with White’s own hype:

Can't wait for the world tour!!!! #mayweathermcgregor
