Conor McGregor flaunts lavish lifestyle on social media

By Tom Taylor - February 17, 2017

It’s now been a few months since we’ve seen Conor McGregor in the UFC’s Octagon. That, however, doesn’t mean the MMA megastar hasn’t been busy.

UFC lightweight champ Conor McGregor

McGregor is currently in the midst of a highly publicized trip to Nevada and California, during which he has several key items on his itinerary.

Perhaps most importantly, McGregor will attempt to squash an ongoing issue with the Nevada State Athletic Commission, which is the result of his 2016 bottle-throwing debacle with Nate Diaz. A secondary goal of his trip to the states is to pick a fight with semi-retired boxing star Floyd Mayweather – or at least work out the terms for a fight. Finally, McGregor will also be attempting to catch a glimpse of Khloé Kardashian’s butt – at least, that’s what he recently told GQ.

While on this mission through the Western States, of course, McGregor has been traveling in the style in which he’s become accustomed. That means limousines, private jets, cigars, and plenty of social media posts to keep us all sufficiently jealous.

Here are the Irishman’s latest social media updates, which show him being whisked around in a limo and jetted about in a private jet.

When we last saw McGregor in action, he knocked out Eddie Alvarez to win the UFC lightweight title. Under normal circumstances, his first challenge as lightweight champ would be provided by the winner of Khabib Nurmagomedov and Tony Ferguson’s looming interim lightweight title fight. Circumstances for McGregor, however, are never normal. The Irishman has repeatedly balked at the idea of fighting the Nurmagomedov-Ferguson winner, and is instead hell-bent on a scrap with Mayweather. Whether this fight actually comes to fruition, of course, remains to be seen. UFC President Dana White certainly isn’t optimistic.

Do you think Conor McGregor and Floyd Mayweather will ever fight? Sound off, PENN Nation!
