With the two former teammates also starring as opposing coaches in the current season of The Ultimate Fighter, there is a ton of history between the two opponents. Once friends and training partners, they now find themselves on opposite sides set to do battle in the Octagon.

TJ Dillashaw, Cody Garbrandt and Urijah Faber

Urijah Faber, the head of Team Alpha Male said back in April of last year that Dillashaw looked “like a prepubescent little teenager” ever since the UFC partnered with the U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA).

TJ Dillashaw responded to Faber’s comments shortly after and said that he was upset by the comments and hasn’t shown any physical change in his body throughout his career.

“I think it’s ridiculous,” Dillashaw said. “Go and look at all my fight pictures. Look at my last fights, look at my fight weigh-ins. It’s all the same. It’s just something to discredit my name and talk sh*t about. It really pissed me off. You know I haven’t even said anything in the media about it, I’ve just kinda stayed quiet about it. It just really, really kind of pissed me off. It’s a little ridiculous.”

Garbrandt has stated that he wants advanced drug testing for his fight against Dillashaw and took to twitter on Thursday stirring up the pot once again where he tweeted something interesting regarding Dillashaw and his past.

A fan tweeted to Garbrandt, “When did @TJDillashaw become such a little bitch. I used to respect the hell outta that kid.”

Garbrandt replied, “Once he got off all the shit!💉💉”
