Featherweight contender Chad Mendes bagged a massive moose while hunting in Alaska and took to social media to display his handiwork.

‘Money’ Mendes is documenting his Alaska moose hunt on his Youtube channel and seems to be keeping busy while serving out his suspension after his 2015 knockout loss to Frankie Edgar.

“Ok guys the first video of my 63″ DIY Alaska moose hunt is now live on my YouTube channel!! The link is in my bio. Check it out and please subscribe if (you) like!! (Thanks) guys!!”

The Team Alpha Male standout hasn’t fought since the Edgar fight following a failed out-of-competition USADA drug test on June 10, 2016, when Mendes tested positive for a growth hormone release simulator.

While he’s serving the two year suspension, Mendes appears to be preoccupied hunting large game in Alaska. ‘Money’ won’t be eligible to compete until 2018.

Meanwhile, fellow UFC fighter Luke Rockhold is busy spearfishing in between fights, as the former UFC middleweight champion posted a video of him spearfishing underwater in the Bahamas on Instagram. Rockhold has also launched his modeling career following his devastating knockout loss to Michael Bisping, who took his belt at UFC 199.

Rockhold is set to rematch Jacare Souza in Australia on November 26. The two fought the first time back in Strikeforce, when Rockhold defeated the Brazilian submission specialist via decision to win the Strikeforce middleweight belt.

Always on the hunt.
