Carlos Condit set to return to the Octagon at UFC 202

After much speculation as to whether or not he would return to the Octagon following his controversial split decision loss to Robbie Lawler for the welterweight championship, Carlos Condit will be returning to the Octagon at UFC 202 on August 20th to fight Demian Maia.

While Condit is going into the bout after a loss, Maia will enter the contest on a 5-fight win streak that saw him most recently submit Matt Brown at UFC 198 in Brazil.

The event, which goes down at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, will be headlined by a welterweight scrap between Conor McGregor and Nate Diaz.
