Carlos Condit allegedly training for potential Nick Diaz rematch

Back in 2012, Carlos Condit and Nick Diaz fought for the interim UFC welterweight championship at UFC 143. Ultimately, Condit was awarded the unanimous decision win, although many believed that Diaz should have won the fight given the fact that he was the aggressor throughout the entire fight.

Since then, there has always been talk amongst fans of a potential rematch between the pair all these years later, however nothing ever came to fruition.

Now, Condit allegedly revealed on his snapchat (Carlos_Condit) that he is training for a potential rematch with Nick Diaz all these years later. Diaz is currently serving a suspension from a failed drug test at UFC 183. With that being said, Diaz will be eligible to fight in August.

Condit on the other hand is coming off a controversial split decision loss to Robbie Lawler in a failed bid for the UFC welterweight championship. After the fight there were talks of Condit retiring if he didn’t get a rematch with Lawler, however it appears as though a potential rematch with Diaz would be enough to keep ‘The Natural Born Killer’ around.
