Wednesday it was announced on UFC Tonight that Conor McGregor vs. Nate Diaz II had been set for the main event of UFC 200. In addition it was announced that Jose Aldo and Frankie Edgar would compete for the interim featherweight title.

In addition, 3 more high-profile bouts were officially confirmed.

Former UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez will fight Travis Browne, Joe Lauzon will fight Diego Sanchez, and Takanori Gomi will fight Jim Miller.

Velasquez hasn’t fought since he lost the heavyweight championship to Fabricio Werdum last year, while Travis Browne is coming off a TKO win over Matt Mitrione.

Joe Lauzon is coming off a decision loss to Evan Dunham, while Diego Sanchez is coming off a unanimous decision win over Jim Miller at UFC 196.

Last but certainly not least, Takanori Gomi, who is currently riding a 2-fight losing streak that saw him get TKO’d in back to back bouts, will fight Jim Miller, who is also riding a 2-fight losing streak.
