Amanda Nunes responds to critics ahead of UFC 200

At UFC 200, Amanda Nunes will face the toughest test of her professional MMA career as she fights Miesha Tate for the UFC women’s bantamweight championship in the co-main event.

When the fight was announced, many questioned whether or not Nunes deserved a title shot despite her 3-fight win streak. Holly Holm’s camp came out and accused Tate of turning down a rematch with Holm in order to take an easier fight, which lead to Tate’s camp refuting the claims.

Now, Nunes is answering those who don’t think she deserves a fight against Tate. She spoke to MMAJunkie:

“I think I’m the only one that deserves this in the division right now. I’m putting work in the cage and showing good fights and finishes. This is the best way to show everybody the contender, and I did.”
