UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic will have home field advantage when he defends his title for the first time against number one contender Alistair Overeem in the main event of UFC 203.

The UFC announced the news on Twitter just moments ago:

Stipe Miocic became the UFC champion earlier this month in Brazil when he scored a one-punch knockout victory over Fabricio Werdum in the opening-round of their UFC 198 main event tilt. The Cleveland native will be looking to extend his current win streak to four in a row by defending his title for the first time against Overeem.

Meanwhile, Alistair Overeem is currently riding a four-fight win streak which includes three knockout victories over Stefan Struve, Junior dos Santos and most recently Andrei Arlovski.
