MMA NEWS – Strikeforce Adds Mousasi vs. Kyle To Columbus Show In March

A light-heavyweight bout has been added to the “Strikeforce: Tate vs. Rousey” event in the form of Gegard Mousasi vs. Mike Kyle.
Kyle broke the news via his personal twitter and BJPENN.COM later confirmed it with officials.
The March 3rd event is set to go down from the Nationwide Arena in Columbus Ohio and with a bantamweight title fight between challenger Ronda Rousey and champion Miesha Tate in the headlining slot.
Since losing his light-heavyweight title to Muhammed “King Mo” Lawal, Gegard has gone on a five-fight unbeaten streak. He last saw action this past December against rising prospect Ovince St. Preux and was able to decisively control the contest to earn a unanimous decision victory. The win put him with 19 wins in his last 21 bouts (19-1-1).
Looking to spoil the resurgence of Mousasi is AKA trained Kyle. He is now 6-1-1 in his last eight appearances with his lone loss coming way of Antonio Silva in a heavyweight contest. Kyle last saw the inside of the Strikeforce “Hexagon” when he took out Marcos Rogerio de Lima last September.
