MMA NEWS – Cris "Cyborg" Claims Innocence In Steroid Allegations

The former 145 pound female division champion of Strikeforce just released a statement on her failed drug screening.

Here it is via

“I am ultimately responsible for everything I put in my body, and at the end of the day, there is no excuse for having a prohibited substance in my system.
I do not condone the use of any performance enhancing drugs by myself or any other professional athlete, and willingly accept the penalties and fines that have been handed down to me by the California State Athletic Commission and those of the StrikeForce/Zuffa organization.

While I was preparing myself for my last fight I was having a difficult time cutting weight and used a dietary supplement that I was assured was safe and not prohibited from use in sports competition. It was never my intention to obtain an unfair advantage over Hiroko, mislead StrikeForce, the Commission or my fans.

I train harder than any fighter in MMA and do not need drugs to win in the cage, and I have proven this time and time again! My only mistake is not verifying the diet aid with my doctor beforehand, and understanding that it was not approved for use in the ring.

Unfortunately in the end I suffer the consequences and must accept the responsibility for my actions.””I will do everything I can to show my fans that I can still compete at the professional level without the use of any prohibited substances, and ask God’s forgiveness for my mistake.”

GTFO you cheating cunt. Rousey called it. Get off the junk, stop being a man, and you wouldn’t have trouble making weight in the women’s division.

  2. Ruben says:

    rousey sucks dick

  3. This is so dumb. How is Cyborg getting suspended for trying steroids once! she didnt even inhale!!

  4. Xaninho says:

Yeah ofcourse I believe her….For a woman it’s perfectly normal to have a voice like Barry White, zits all over and a body that puts Alistair Overeem to shame…

  5. BobbyLemons says:

I thought that CSAC confirmed she had Stanozolol in here system? What kind of weight cutting aid contains Stanozolol? Hmm

    • Fox_G3tHyp3 says:

Stanozolol is used as a “cut” steroid, among bodybuilders. It helps to lose fat, while preserving muscle. It also provides good muscle grown and strength.

  6. bertram says:

lmao why does everybody hate on rousey? shes nice, good looking for an mma chick, and a badass fuckin fighter who wrecks bitches left and right with ease. as for cyborg, how can you say you used a dietary supplement and you were unaware it was winny lol. there’s a difference between winstrol and hydroxycut haha that’s the most bs explanation i’ve heard in a while.

  8. Faust says:

    Honestly is anyone surprised?

And.. A dietary supplement that is filled with steroids? Call me a skeptic but.. i don’t buy it

    • Ninja Oreo Dollop says:

The optimist in me wants to believe her but the pessimist in me doesn’t buy it. She has been on those steroids for a while and her body doesn’t even have a hint of softness that any other woman athlete possesses. Everyone deserves a second chance but they have to pay for it. Redemption.

  9. pitbullz4life says:

For once if you do something wrong just admitted it and go on why do these so called super stars lie about shit when they get caught grow up peeps

  10. i love rhonda says:

cyborgs clitoris is about as big as my flacid penis from all that winstrol she’s taking. effen cheater! rhonda will tear her arm off

  11. GreenTeaBagger says:

  12. Mike R says:

She is a lier, if you research Stanozolol there’s no supplement or products containing, Stanozolol is strictly a prescribe steriod pill

    • EJ says:

it may not be listed, but if you look up Protein Powder, most have banned substances that aren’t listed either. just FYI, not trying to start anything.

i want to believe her, but we’ll see what unfolds. she didn’t say she was going to appeal the decision, so to me that is the same as claiming guilty.

  13. Tricky says:

I’ve been around athletes of many types for the last 20 years and more. I’ve known people who use PEDs and those who don’t. I’m no expert but there are a few things I know for sure. A woman on anabolic/androgenic steroids will (to a greater or lesser degree, depending on how much and what compounds they are taking):
    A) develop a deeper voice, and
    B) become hairier (particularly on the upper lip).
Other side-effects can be exactly the same as experienced by males:
    1) spots (especially on the upper back, shoulders and upper arms)
    2) greasy skin.
There are many more possible of course but these are the specific ones I’m aware of.
In a woman side-effects can be more pronounced because they are taking a male hormone which in their natural bodies only is produced in small amounts. The more they take, the more prominent and noticeable side-effects become.

  14. KingGareth says:

These fighters have scientific diets and watch very carefully what they eat. I call bullshit, she knew what she was doing, she just got caught.
All fighters should be subjected to random drug testing at any time.

  15. jerome says:

Ok, so when did you start getting diet aids in a syringe?? She is so full of crap her eyes are brown, at least she is not going to appeal and is taking responsibility cough cough “While I was preparing myself for my last fight I was having a difficult time cutting weight and used a dietary supplement that I was assured was safe and not prohibited from use in sports competition.” cough cough yuppers a diet supplement in a syringe she truly had no clue it was a steroid of sorts….

  16. Yoface says:

I knew something was wrong with her there is no way a girl could have so much muscle!!!

  17. A.James says:

Well Cyborg, there’s always the WWE!

  18. Mike McMack says:

Why is it so hard to just admit that you cheated? Nobody accidentally takes Steroids, it’s so pathetic when athletes try to act like they had no idea what they were allowing into or on to their bodies. This wont be the last MMA fighter to get caught, but this is a huge blow to the possibilities for womens MMA. There are only a few quality female competitors and now theres one less.

  19. Sweet says:

She will now find a new career in ‘Tranny Surprise’ pornos

  20. Xaninho says:

Strikeforce should sign Marloes Coenen again.

  21. Axel39 says:

Rousey still woulda given her an ass whoppin regardless of roids.

  22. Mr.Rusk says:

As fugly as this bitch is I bet she has a cooter like a car crusher

  23. dave says:

lets see this product and test it…she is such a liar..the worst in when they are caught and they just dont admit shitt

    • DBKlein69 says:

exactly. give up the name of this phantom product that is to blame for ur failed test. also, name the person who assured u it was safe to take and lets hear from them as well. CHEATER!!!!!

  24. rkjo84 says:

oh god the old “I was using an over the counter dietary supplement that I was told was okay bullshit”…find me one otc product that contains stanozol cyborg…also, what a coincidence it must be that she tests positive for the very steroid that is most commonly used by women due to its low virilizing side effects on women.

  25. Hwill Hwheaton says:

yay the ugly one is gone for cheating… let the two hot ones beat on one another. tate a rousey are sexy damnnnnn

  26. Bigfan says:

a cheater is a cheater. that is all.

  27. SHE SHOULD HAVE KNOWN.... says:

Those “supplements” in Mexico, especially named WINSTROL is banned.

…. And all these years I thought Chael was the dumbass (“one shot”). lol

  28. THE INUK says:

heres the thing, it is possible for girls to have a body like that without supplements… yall talk like its fucking impossible.. she very well couldve been clean the whole time.. she trains harder then ANY female, therefore is gonig to get more muscle.

with that being said, now that this came up, her legacy is finished, this will always come up now and nobody will consider her as great as she once was, very sad, regardless if she took them or not.. sucks for her… Its very hard to believe she didnt take it though, well have to see how this turns out.. GINA OR TATE FTW!! rousey is dope too… but yeah

    • Xaninho says:

The body ok, it might be possible without supplements, but you heard her talk…There’s two female body builders at the gym I work out too and they’re definitely juicing, same voices as Cyborg. The voice just a dead giveaway.

  29. Giggaplex says:

lol at people jumping to her defense. the amount of people juicing these days is huge, not just in pro sports its everywhere. who knows maybe she is telling the truth but lets look at the evidence we have rather than a “what if” or “maybe didnt” situation. all the cards are pointing towards her juicing and really what evidence is there to say she isnt? athletes know what theyre taking, would you risk your career/legacy/money all because someone ~assured~ you something was safe to take? these people are adults and need to start taking responsibility for their actions not passing the blame acting like they were ~so hard done by~ because they were left in the dark. if you’re a juicer; you’re a piece of shit through and through no matter how you or your team have justified it in their heads.

  30. Mach00man says:

LoL!, Kind of reminds me of Jim Carrey as Vera De Milo on “In Living Color”
