MMA NEWS – Couture vs. Heun Set For “Strikeforce: Tate vs. Rousey”

Strikeforce officials have added a lightweight contest to their return trip to Columbus and have decided to put Conor Heun up against Ryan Couture.
Strikeforce officials confirmed the matchup earlier today.
The March 3rd event is set to go down from the Nationwide Arena in Columbus Ohio and with a bantamweight title fight between challenger Ronda Rousey and champion Miesha Tate in the headlining slot.
Heun has not been the most active of fighters under the Strikeforce roster. In fact he has only fought three times under the promotion since 2009 and two of those where losses to K.J. Noons and Jorge Gurgel. However he did recently bounce back from the back-to-back losses in June of last year with a win over Magno Almeida.
Heun and his 13 fight professional career is now set to take on MMA newcomer Ryan Couture who has only competed in four-professional contests.
Ryan last saw action in September with a decision victory over Maka Watson.
