MMA NEWS – Carano Explains That Haywire Producers Changed Her Voice In Movie
MMA superstar, Gina Carano explains what many people have speculated on ever since the trailer for her upcoming film “Haywire” was released.
Her voice for the role was changed in the post-production phase and if you’ve watched the extended trailer than you have surely already noticed it.
She explains the change to Fightlinker.com:

“Yeah absolutely and I’m surprised that hasn’t come up sooner. Stephen Soderberg wanted Mallory Kane [the character she plays in the movie] to be a completely different entity than Gina Carano. So he definitely went in and I went in to AVR and he did some tweaking. We all knew that that was going to come up because people know me so well in the MMA world. But he is quite a genius in what he has created and it still was an honor to be a part of it.
Even though it might not sound exactly like me, there are still parts of me that are in there. But he just wanted to make sure that that entity was completely different from myself…Yeah, everyone was a little curious about that. And I don’t blame anyone for being curious about it. But if I was bald and they had given me the voice of Bill Clinton I still would have done the movie.”

Kimbo Carano, acts worse than she fights. Her “Conviction” was so strong she quit after one loss. People only like her for her face and her implants. (What kind of an idiot does mma with implants)

She isn’t taking time off, she hasnt fought in 2.5 years. Once she got smashed she quit. Implants are stupid enough as it is (and its the only reason people like her) but to fight with them is as dumb as you can get. Hope they get popped by a kick.

Her acting is garbage as most MMA fighters have proven as of late. As for her implants, I am not a fan of fake boobs anyway. Fighting with them does not seem smart. Yes it is ironic that her nick name is “Conviction” when she gave up after one beatdown as a “fighter”. All this points to the old saying “when the going gets tough”… but in MMA when the going got tough she just gave up.
But she will still be making money through shit movies and other things she can do while she is still pretty enough.
I can’t say I would do any different in the given situation. Seeing a huge check can change a lot of peoples minds. Plus not getting hit in the face to get it is always a highlight.
If not for Gina Carano female MMA would be stll back a few years. Gina always puts on very exciting fights and I hope she comes back. Being a very bautiful woman is a bonus.
PS The only figher to dominate her was a roided out fighter that should be fighting ss a man.
She is a huge draw, she would sell out any arena and the PPV #’s would also do well.
Being beautiful and humble are very sexy. She has it all. Just my opinion.
I don’t see why people are hating on Gina. She has a 7-1 record with her 1 loss coming from someone who’s obviously been on roids and finaly got caught…
I agree with Vinny, Gina’s helped get women’s MMA where it is today. Sure it helps that she’s HOT, but she can fight too. Don’t forget she’s also 12-1-1 in kickboxing. As a fan of the sport, one thing I’ve noticed is that you can’t do this forever. Good for Gina for taking a lead movie role, I for one, hope she does well.
